About the Role:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record within the Australian HVAC market:
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Variation and contract negotiations
- Detailed project planning and control
- Responsible for the financial performance of the projects
- Liaising with Principle Contractors and Builders
- Monitoring project progress and performance
- Managing onsite subcontractors, trades and labour requirements
- Mentoring and coaching Junior Project Managers and Site Managers
- Ensuring awareness and practice of WHS compliance
About You:
- Minimum 5 years of Australian experience in HVAC Construction Project Management
- Project management skills with experience in handling competing priorities utilising outstanding organisational and planning ability
- Proven ability to develop strong partnerships with and engage/influence key stakeholders
- Effective interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trusting and respectful relationships at all levels
- Experience in providing direction, feedback and coaching to a team
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex activities and/or information to provide innovative solutions
- Ability to manage and oversee a wide range of projects and to adapt to unique and challenging environments
- A strong desire to accept a challenge and deliver results

About the Role:
Fantastic opportunity to learn from the best in the air conditioning industry:
- Four-year Apprenticeship working towards a Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- On-the-job training with qualified and experienced technicians combined with formal study (3 years part-time) at an elected TAFE
- Participate in workplace and worksite quarterly rotations, experiencing a variety of work environments including all aspects of the trade
What will I be doing:
As part of your Apprenticeship you will undertake varied duties, which may include, but not limited to:
- Learning how to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, test and maintain a diverse range of air conditioning systems including domestic and commercial air conditioning systems, mechanical ventilation systems and water heating and cooling systems.
- Reading and interpreting plans for installation of new systems and servicing of existing systems
- Learning about refrigerated systems that cool and heat water and air
- Commissioning of systems including testing and balancing of air and water distribution
About You:
- Currently completing Year 12 or equivalent
- Drivers Licence and own transport
- Must enjoy working outdoors
- Physically fit and are able to complete manual tasks
- Be willing to travel to worksites
- Able to work in a team environment
- Punctual and reliable
- Willingness to learn and commit to complete an apprenticeship
- Excellent communication skills

Based in the Hills district in NW Sydney, we are seeking an honest, reliable and experienced Refrigeration Plumber to undertake plumbing construction work across various Sydney sites.
Reporting to the site supervisor your duties will include:
- confirming the initial specification requirements on projects allocated to you
- assisting with installation schedule & coordination of labour requirements
- completing trade works for air conditioning and refrigeration systems including refrigerant pipework (VRF/VRF/Split systems), chilled water systems, hot water systems, condenser water systems, gas piping and air handling systems
- working with suppliers to organise delivery schedules
- communicating and working with site supervisor to ensure projects are completed within time and quality targets
You will need:
- at least 2 years relevant experience
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- A current Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current driver licence
- Pride in your work
- Able to work unsupervised
- Able to communicate productively with clients and other site workers
